MOBILE BUILDING COLLAPSE SIMULATOR "PATENT PENDING"

As Real As It Gets Training.  Customizable Scenarios.  Goes anywhere!

TRAIN TO SAVE LIVES!

NOW SCHEDULING FOR 2010!!!

Experience a building collapse that is as real as it gets while still in a safe environment. The Mobile Building Collapse Simulator "PATENT PENDING" is designed to increase the skill of First Responders and the rescue team's ability to work as a unit.

The Mobile Building Collapse Simulator is housed in either a 24' or 30', easily transported trailer that is divided into two floors. On the first floor, the rescuer will navigate inclines, collapsing floors, donning and doffing situations, narrow spaces, and rope entanglements. Visibility is limited.

The second floor is more advanced. It involves a total building collapse and search for a trapped victim or victims. The rescuer will have to navigate narrow openings, stairs, collapsed roof rafters, plumbing fixtures, wires, and additional debris. A leaking gas line will have to be located and shut down before/during the search for the trapped person. The rescuers must safely relocate the victim. Visibility is limited.

Advantages:

  • Rescuers can train side by side with team members
  • Rescuers are trained using their own equipment
  • Rescuers can train with neighboring departments to allow for better continuity of ongoing cooperation
  • The unit is mobile and allows easy transportation from location to location
  • Scenarios are setup to provide varying degrees of difficulty in the rescues
