Premium Unit (Purchase)
The simulator is fully mobile and built in a 24
foot trailer with two vertical levels of training. The interior is
totally darkened and painted with light absorbing black paint.
A build in non-toxic smoke generator can also smoke both levels for
training and TIC evolutions.
No short cuts are taken in shoring or packaging
of the victims and formal group critique is conducted by the
department's officers, training chief, and safety officers prior to
the next evolution. Only personnel in good physical condition should
be considered for this training and medical monitoring is suggested
prior to beginning and ending of the evolution.
All evolutions require full protective clothing
and SCBA. All state and federal safety procedures must be followed.
Safety of rescuers and simulated live victims is continually
stressed.
Basic fire fighter training scenarios emphasize:
and allow practice and perfection of:
-
Search and rescue, under collapse and extreme
confined space conditions
-
Victim searches, shoring, cribbing, jacking,
breaching, packaging of victims under total darkness with or
without smoke
-
Downed fire fighter rescue, emergency air
replacement by RIT/RIC transfill, buddy breathing and air
cylinder shuttles
-
Search and rescue with and without thermal
imaging
